💡 The essentials

The safest flavour at Nutrimuscle is still Chocolate (organic low fat cocoa), followed by Vanilla: they are the only two flavours offered across all four of the brand’s milk based wheys.

  • Fancy something indulgent: Choco Cookie, in the Protimuscle (4.7/5 on the brand’s site) and in the new Native Iso Blend.
  • Sucralose free: the Premium flavours of the Protimuscle (stevia) or Nature, the unflavoured version, with no flavouring and no sweetener.
  • Raspberry no longer exists: for something fruity, take Strawberry or the Native Clear Whey mixed with water.

At Nutrimuscle, choosing a flavour means first choosing a range. The same “Chocolate” does not have the same formula in the Whey Native, the Isolate, the Protimuscle or the Native Iso Blend, and the more unusual flavours (Matcha Latte, Almond Pistachio, Salted Caramel Pecan) exist in only one of them. That is what makes the flavour list on the brand’s site so confusing.

This guide puts it back in order: which flavours exist in which whey, what the scores published by customers say, and which flavour to take for your particular use. If you are still torn between two types of protein, start with our native whey versus isolate comparison.

🔬 Our method

We ran no tasting session: this ranking rests on verifiable public data. In October 2026 we recorded, from the official product pages on nutrimuscle.com, the flavours in each range, their ingredients, their sweeteners, the protein per serving and the prices, along with the average score and the number of customer reviews shown on each page. We topped that up with the brand’s Trustpilot page.

Nutrimuscle sells five flavoured milk based proteins. Chocolate and Vanilla run across all four “classic” wheys, while the other flavours are tied to one specific range:

The Protimuscle is not a pure whey: it is a blend of milk protein isolate (58%) and native whey concentrate (35%), which explains its 23.1 g of protein per serving and its slower digestion. The Native Iso Blend also combines whey isolate and milk protein isolate. The Native Clear Whey is a water based drink, with only 15 g of protein per 30 g of powder, because it also contains collagen and coconut water.

Two former flavours have disappeared: Raspberry, long the brand’s signature flavour, and Lemon Shortbread no longer appear on the site in October 2026.

Before you pick your flavour: if you are still unsure about the brand itself, Nutripure comes top of our ranking of the best whey protein brands, ahead of Nutrimuscle.

🏆 The best Nutrimuscle whey flavours: our ranking

Nutrimuscle does not display a score per flavour, only per range. Our ranking therefore crosses three verifiable signals: the score of the range the flavour is sold in, the number of ranges that offer it, and its formula (protein per serving, sweetener).

1. Chocolate: the only flavour available everywhere, with real cocoa. You will find it in the Whey Native, the Isolate, the Protimuscle and the Native Iso Blend, and the Isolate page lists 4.7% organic low fat cocoa powder. Chocolate is also the flavoured Isolate with the most protein: 24.4 g per 30 g serving.

2. Vanilla: the easiest to blend into a recipe. Same availability as Chocolate, an identical formula on the sweetener side (sucralose), and a taste that works with porridge oats or whey protein pancakes. In the Trustpilot reviews published in late September 2026, the vanilla Whey Native Isolate is one of the flavours named explicitly by satisfied customers.

3. Choco Cookie: the brand’s indulgent gamble. It belongs to the Protimuscle, Nutrimuscle’s best rated range (4.7/5 from 1,351 reviews), and it is the only dessert style flavour carried over into the new Native Iso Blend. That score covers the whole range, not this flavour alone: keep that caveat in mind.

🍓 Fruity, Premium or Nature: the special cases

To replace Raspberry, the Protimuscle Strawberry is the closest milk based option. If you want something genuinely fruity and light, the Native Clear Whey (Blueberry and raspberry, or Peach and hibiscus) drinks like a juice: Nutrimuscle suggests 30 g in 500 to 700 ml of water, sweeter if you dilute it less. It is, however, the lowest rated (4.2/5) and the lowest in protein.

The three Premium flavours are the only ones sweetened with stevia rather than sucralose. Matcha Latte, Almond Pistachio and Salted Caramel Pecan also contain coconut milk powder, cost around €2.50 more per 500 g pouch and deliver slightly less protein (22.1 to 22.3 g per serving).

Nature, the unflavoured version, is the highest in protein and the simplest: the Isolate Nature page states “native whey protein isolate from milk… and that is all”, which works out at 25.7 g of protein per serving. It is the right choice for cooking (see our whey protein recipes) or for flavouring it yourself with cocoa.

ℹ️ Good to know

Sucralose and stevia are both sweeteners authorised in the European Union. EFSA completed its re-evaluation of sucralose (E 955) in 2026 and judges it safe at the authorised uses. ANSES, for its part, points out that intense sweeteners bring no demonstrated nutritional benefit: if you want to cut down on sweet tastes generally, Nature remains the most neutral option.

🎯 Our verdict: which Nutrimuscle flavour should you choose?

For a first order, we would take Chocolate in the Whey Native: it is the least risky and the cheapest combination in the range (around €20 for the 500 g pouch). If you digest lactose badly, the same Chocolate exists in the Isolate, at a much higher price. If you have a sweet tooth, the Protimuscle Choco Cookie is our second choice, with a more gradual digestion than pure whey (a “moderate” absorption rate according to the brand).

Nutrimuscle is not for you if you want very sweet, milkshake style flavours or a big choice of indulgent flavours at a low price: the range stays short outside the Protimuscle, and the Isolate costs around €71 per kilo. Tighter budgets should look at Decathlon whey instead.

✅ How to find YOUR best flavour at Nutrimuscle

  1. Choose the range first (price, digestion, use), then the flavour from the ones it offers.
  2. Read the reviews on the product page filtering by flavour: search for the flavour name in the comments, because the overall score mixes every flavour together.
  3. Start with the 500 g size to try a flavour before you buy 2.25 kg.
  4. Try water then milk: Nutrimuscle suggests 30 g in 25 cl of either, and milk clearly rounds out the chocolate and vanilla flavours. Our guide to the whey to water ratio sets out the quantities.

⚖️ The other whey brands with good flavours

Nutrimuscle holds its own on the classics, but other brands offer more indulgent flavours. Optimum Nutrition’s Gold Standard lists eleven of them on its French site (see the best Gold Standard whey flavours), and we have also ranked the MyProtein flavours (see our ranking of MyProtein flavours).

❓ Frequently asked questions

What is the best Nutrimuscle whey flavour?

Chocolate is the safest choice, ahead of Vanilla. They are the only two flavours sold across all four of the brand’s milk based wheys. For something more dessert like, the Protimuscle Choco Cookie is the most interesting alternative.

Does Nutrimuscle whey contain sucralose?

Yes, most flavours are sweetened with sucralose. The exceptions are Nature (no sweetener at all) and the three Premium Protimuscle flavours, sweetened with steviol glycosides. The Native Clear Whey combines both.

Does the raspberry Nutrimuscle whey still exist?

No, Raspberry is no longer part of the range as of October 2026. The remaining fruity options are the Protimuscle Strawberry and the Native Clear Whey blueberry and raspberry, to be mixed with water.

What is the difference between Nutrimuscle’s Whey Native and Whey Native Isolate?

The Isolate is more concentrated in protein (85.5 g per 100 g in Nature) and, according to the brand, generally well tolerated with mild lactose intolerance, but it costs almost twice as much. Both come in Chocolate, Vanilla and Nature. To go further, read our guide to the best whey isolate.

Should you mix Nutrimuscle whey with water or milk?

Both work: the brand suggests 30 g in 25 cl of milk or water. Milk gives the chocolate and vanilla flavours a creamier texture, water keeps the shake lighter. The Native Clear Whey, on the other hand, is made with water only.
