💡 The essentials

Eafit is a serious brand, made in France and sold mainly in pharmacies, with a well-rated whey that is often cheaper per kilo of protein than you might think. Its weak point: long recipes, with acesulfame K and sucralose in every whey.

  • Pure Whey: 76 g of protein per 100 g, around €33 to €35 for the 750 g tub from online pharmacies (checked in October 2026).
  • Pure Isolate: 81 to 89 g of protein per 100 g depending on the flavour, less than 1% lactose.
  • Customer reviews: 4.6/5 on Avis Vérifiés (3,178 reviews), 4.5/5 on Trustpilot (26 reviews).
  • If you want a whey with no sweetener or additives: Nutripure’s Whey Isolate Native is purer.

You have seen Eafit tubs on the counter of a French pharmacy and you are wondering whether they are worth it? We went through the labels, prices and published reviews of every Eafit whey to tell you which one to pick, at what price, and when to look elsewhere.

Most of the reviews out there date from 2023 or earlier. Yet the range has changed since then: a new “tri-source” formula for some of the flavours, new sizes and customer ratings that have tripled in volume. Here is where things stand in October 2026, to compare with our ranking of the best whey protein brands.

🔬 Our method

We compared the full labels of Eafit’s whey proteins as published by online pharmacies (updated on 2 October 2026), the brand’s product pages in their latest archived version (May and June 2026, as eafit.com blocked automated reading in October), the prices on 3 October 2026 and the Avis Vérifiés and Trustpilot ratings. Nutripure is an affiliate partner of this site, which earns it no extra stars. No lab testing and no tasting.

🏢 Who is Eafit?

Eafit belongs to the EA Pharma group, a French laboratory based in Mougins (Alpes-Maritimes), which also owns Laboratoires des Granions. The eafit.com site is run by SASU Equilibre Attitude (RCS Cannes 384 201 554), according to its legal notice. The sports nutrition brand was born between 1997 and 2004, according to the group’s Wikipedia page.

Its positioning: a mass-market pharmacy brand that calls itself “no. 1 in pharmacies” for whey and claims around 3,500 points of sale in France. Pure Whey and Pure Isolate are made in France, to the NF EN 17444 anti-doping standard. On price, it is mid-range, with big variations from one pharmacy to another.

🥛 Eafit whey: the whole range in October 2026

Eafit currently sells a mostly concentrate whey (Pure Whey), an isolate (Pure Isolate) and three spin-off products: Mega Whey, Pure Isolate Premium and a gainer. Here is what their labels say.

Pure Whey: the pharmacy best-seller

Product page of Eafit's Pure Whey

Pure Whey provides 76 g of protein per 100 g, or about 30 g per 40 g shake, with 17.8 g of BCAAs per 100 g according to the brand. It is made in France from ingredients of “EU/non-EU origin” and sold in 360 g, 750 g, 850 g and 1.8 kg sizes depending on the retailer.

Be aware: two recipes coexist depending on the flavour. Double Chocolat, Vanille Intense and Chocolat Noisette follow the “tri-source” formula: about 43% whey concentrate, 36 to 41% whey isolate and 10% whey hydrolysate. Café, Caramel, Fraise and Vanille Noisette stay on the old base: 66 to 69% concentrate and 25% isolate.

The label is long: acesulfame K and sucralose, silica [nano], xanthan gum, tricalcium phosphate, sunflower and soy lecithins, maltodextrin, plus glutamine, arginine, taurine, vitamins and a digestive enzyme complex (including lactase). To understand what separates a concentrate from an isolate, read our comparison of whey isolate vs whey concentrate.

Pure Isolate: the version richest in protein

Product page of Eafit's Pure Isolate

Pure Isolate goes up to 89 g of protein per 100 g in vanilla and 81 g in chocolate, which is 27 g and 24 g per 30 g shake. The brand states less than 1% lactose and manufacture in France; it comes in chocolate, vanilla and red berries, in a 750 g tub (25 shakes).

The recipe is much shorter than Pure Whey’s: the vanilla contains 97.62% isolate, inulin, a flavouring, silica and the same sweeteners (acesulfame K and sucralose). The chocolate version adds fat-reduced cocoa, soy lecithin and a little caffeine (5 mg per shake according to the brand).

Mega Whey, Pure Isolate Premium and Lean Gainer

Eafit whey range page

These three products are not “simple” whey proteins: Mega Whey (750 g) adds creatine and whey peptides, with a 60 g serving; Pure Isolate Premium (orange or lemon) is boosted with BCAAs and creatine; Lean Gainer is a blend of half whey, half carbohydrates. If you are weighing it up against a gainer, read whey or mass gainer? first.

⚠️ Watch out

Allergies: Eafit whey proteins contain milk, often soy, and the label warns of possible traces of gluten, egg, nuts, celery and sulphites. The chocolate Pure Isolate contains caffeine and the brand advises against it for children and pregnant women. If you have an allergy, are pregnant or have kidney disease, ask your doctor before taking any supplement.

💶 Eafit whey price: how much per kilo?

The price of Eafit depends on where you buy it: the same 750 g Pure Whey goes from €32.90 to €34.90 between two online pharmacies. Prices checked on 3 October 2026:

Product and sizePrice foundPrice per kiloPrice per kilo of protein
Pure Whey 750 g€32.90 to €34.90€43.87 to €46.53€57.72 to €61.23
Pure Whey 1.8 kg€67.89€37.72€49.63
Pure Isolate 750 g€36.89€49.19€55.27 (vanilla) to €60.72 (chocolate)
Nutripure Whey Isolate Native, unflavoured€44.90 (750 g) to €189.90 (4 kg)€59.87 to €47.48€68.97 to €54.69

A surprising conclusion: from online pharmacies, a kilo of Eafit protein costs less than a kilo of Nutripure protein for the same size, especially in the 1.8 kg tub. Nutripure only catches up with Eafit in the 4 kg tub. The retail price shown on eafit.com could not be checked in October.

⭐ Eafit reviews: what customers say

On Avis Vérifiés, eafit.com scores 4.6/5 from 3,178 reviews collected since April 2019, including 496 over the last twelve months (72% five stars, 4% one star).

  • Trustpilot: 4.5/5 from only 26 reviews; Trustpilot notes that the brand does not invite its customers to leave reviews, so the sample is small.
  • Pure Whey product page on the brand’s site: 4.7/5 from 365 verified reviews, in the latest archived version (May 2026).

According to the summary published by Avis Vérifiés, customers talk mostly about ordering, delivery and whether the parcel matched the order, and much less about the product itself. Among the reviews highlighted on Trustpilot, the only negative one is about one of the brand’s fat burners, not the whey.

🏷️ Eafit promo code: the verified offers

The only welcome offer published by the brand is a 30% off code sent by email after you sign up to the newsletter, shown on its current deals page (in French). We do not publish any influencer or coupon-site codes: there is no way to check they still work.

  • Free delivery from €49 by Colissimo or to a pick-up point, in mainland France.
  • 14-day money-back guarantee, according to the brand’s delivery page.
  • The real bargain: compare online pharmacies, where the 750 g Pure Whey drops to around €33.

⚖️ Eafit or Nutripure?

Here we compare the labels, line by line, of Eafit’s Pure Whey and Pure Isolate with Nutripure’s Whey Isolate Native in its unflavoured version, the purest in its range. Both are French brands. Prices are those checked on 3 October 2026.

Eafit wins on price and availability: you can find it in French pharmacies, often discounted, and the vanilla Pure Isolate even contains a little more protein than Nutripure. Nutripure wins on everything else: two ingredients instead of about twenty, zero sweetener, almost no lactose, French milk and a native, undenatured whey (we explain the difference in our guide to native whey).

If you drink whey every day and prefer to avoid sucralose and acesulfame K, Nutripure’s Whey Isolate Native is the best choice for you, all the more so in the 4 kg tub, where its price matches Eafit’s. It ships from France.

🏆 Our verdict on Eafit whey

Eafit whey is a decent, convenient product, not a “clean” whey. Its Pure Isolate is the best product in the range: high in protein, low in lactose, with a reasonable ingredient list. Pure Whey, on the other hand, remains a classic pharmacy whey, loaded with additives for its price.

  • It is made for you if you want to buy your whey at a pharmacy, take advantage of a discount or of advice in store, and sweet, flavoured shakes do not bother you.
  • It is not made for you if you avoid sweeteners, if you cook with your whey (there is no unflavoured version), if you are allergic to soy, or if you are looking for a native whey made from French milk.

In that second case, go for an isolate with no sweetener: that is the profile of Nutripure, and of Protéalpes (see our Protéalpes review). Another brand you will see in plenty of shops: read our Eric Favre whey review, and find all the alternatives in our selection of the best whey isolate.

❓ Frequently asked questions

What do customers think of Eafit products?

The reviews are good: 4.6/5 on Avis Vérifiés from 3,178 reviews, and 4.5/5 on Trustpilot from 26 reviews. The comments mainly praise how easy it is to order and how quickly the parcel arrives. They say little about the ingredients, which remain the real weak point of Pure Whey.

Where does the Eafit brand come from?

Eafit is a French brand of the EA Pharma group, based in Mougins, which also owns Laboratoires des Granions. Its whey proteins are made in France, but Pure Whey uses ingredients of EU and non-EU origin.

How should you take Eafit Pure Whey?

The brand recommends 40 g of powder (2 scoops) in 250 ml of water, once or twice a day, as a snack or after training. The right amount depends on how much protein you get from your diet: do the maths with our guide how much whey protein per day.

Is Eafit whey suitable if you are lactose intolerant?

Pure Isolate, with less than 1% lactose, is the most suitable in the range. Pure Whey contains lactase, but Eafit does not publish its lactose content. If your intolerance is marked, an isolate with less than 0.2% lactose such as Nutripure’s is the safer bet.

What is the difference between whey and “Pure Whey”?

“Pure Whey” is a trade name, not a category: at Eafit, it is a mostly concentrate whey with 76 g of protein per 100 g. To judge a whey, look at the protein content, the ingredient list and the type of protein (concentrate, isolate, native), not the name on the tub.
