💡 The essentials
Four shops sell whey protein in Lille and Marcq-en-Barœul as of October 2026:
- The easiest to reach: BioTechUSA inside the Euralille centre (Metro 1 and 2, trams R and T), open until 8pm.
- The most advice: FitnessBoutique on rue des Tanneurs or in Marcq-en-Barœul, with protein tastings.
- The widest choice of brands: Healthy Life, rue de la Piquerie, where you can collect web orders.
Buying whey protein in Lille has changed since our first list: two of the five shops we used to recommend can no longer be confirmed as open, and the Decathlon City in the centre is showing a closure with no reopening date. So we rebuilt the list from the shops’ official pages.
Below you will find the exact addresses, the published opening hours and what each shop does best, then the collection and delivery options if you would rather order online.
🗺️ Four whey protein shops in Lille and Marcq-en-Barœul
BioTechUSA Euralille (Lille)
BioTechUSA runs a shop in the Euralille shopping centre, avenue Willy Brandt, 59777 Lille, open Monday to Saturday from 9.30am to 8pm. Sitting between Lille’s two railway stations, the centre is served by Metro lines 1 and 2 and tram lines R and T: it is the simplest stop if you are arriving by train or calling in after work. The one limitation is that the shop only sells the BioTechUSA brand.
FitnessBoutique Lille Centre (Lille)
FitnessBoutique Lille Centre, 62 rue des Tanneurs, 59000 Lille, offers you a taste of its new proteins before you buy. Published hours: Monday to Saturday, from 10am to 1pm and from 2.30pm to 7pm. Mind the lunchtime break if you were planning to call in at midday.
Healthy Life (Lille)
Healthy Life is a supplement shop at 1 rue de la Piquerie in Lille, which describes itself as the chain’s first shop, with a wide choice of dietary products over the past 11 years. Its site lets you order and then pick the “Collecte à Lille” option to collect in store. The opening hours are not published on the site: ring before you travel.
FitnessBoutique Lille (Marcq-en-Barœul)
FitnessBoutique Lille is actually in Marcq-en-Barœul, immeuble Royal Center, 100 rue Cheval Blanc, 59700 Marcq-en-Barœul. The team here also runs protein tastings, and the shop opens Monday to Friday from 10am to 1pm and from 2.30pm to 7pm, and on Saturday from 10am to 7pm without a break.
🔬 Our method
We kept only the shops confirmed by an official source in October 2026: the BioTechUSA shop page, the FitnessBoutique store listings and the Healthy Life online shop. An address whose website is closed or unreachable was removed. The Metro and tram access for Euralille comes from the centre’s public listing. We did not visit the shops ourselves.
❌ The addresses we removed from our Lille list
- SuperFoodSport (rue Solférino): its site displays “le site est fermé” (the site is closed), so we could not confirm the shop still takes customers.
- Dietfitness (Marcq-en-Barœul): site unreachable when we checked, with no recent official source available.
- Decathlon City Lille (rue de Béthune): the store listing shows a closure, with the reopening date “not communicated”.
If one of these shops reopens, or if you know it is trading, it will come back onto the list as soon as we can verify it against an official source.
🏆 Our pick of the whey proteins delivered to Lille
The French brands placed highest in our ranking of the best whey proteins are sold mainly online. Here are the ones you can have delivered in Lille:
| Nom du produit | Marque | Avantages | Lien produit |
|---|---|---|---|

🔁 Click & collect and delivery in Lille
Two Lille retailers let you reserve online and collect in store: Healthy Life with its “Collecte à Lille” option, and FitnessBoutique, whose Click & Collect works through a call from an adviser within 24 hours, then collection at the desk on presentation of the invoice.
For delivery, aim for the free shipping threshold: MyProtein shows free delivery from €60 and Nutrimuscle free home delivery from €100 (checked in October 2026). At Decathlon, a pickup point costs €0.99 and becomes free from €49.90 spent, with a lead time from 72 working hours.
📊 Euralille, FitnessBoutique, Healthy Life or online: our scores
| Option | Price | Choice of brands | Tasting and advice | Access by public transport |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| BioTechUSA Euralille | ★★☆☆☆ | ★☆☆☆☆ | ★★★★☆ | ★★★★★ |
| FitnessBoutique (Lille Centre, Marcq) | ★★☆☆☆ | ★★★☆☆ | ★★★★★ | ★★★☆☆ |
| Healthy Life | ★★★☆☆ | ★★★★☆ | ★★★☆☆ | ★★★☆☆ |
| Brand websites | ★★★★★ | ★★★★★ | ★★☆☆☆ | Delivery |
These scores are an assessment based on what the retailers publish (number of brands, advertised services, transport links), not a survey of shelf prices. Healthy Life does show its prices online, for example a 900 g Novoma native whey isolate at €46.99 (checked in October 2026), which lets you compare before you set off.
🧭 Our verdict: which shop should you pick in Lille?
New to whey protein? Start with FitnessBoutique, on rue des Tanneurs or in Marcq: tasting before you buy saves you nasty surprises on flavour and texture. Want to compare several brands on the spot? Healthy Life, which claims a wide choice of dietary products, is the right address. BioTechUSA Euralille, finally, is perfect for a top-up between two trains.
These shops are not for heavy users who already know what they want: at a tub a month, a large size ordered online above the free shipping threshold usually costs less. To choose the product, lean on our guide on which whey protein to choose, and if you are weighing up an isolate, read what whey isolate actually is. If you have kidney disease, are pregnant or are allergic to milk protein, ask a doctor before you start.
❓ Frequently asked questions
Where can you buy whey protein near Lille’s railway stations?
At BioTechUSA, in the Euralille shopping centre, between Lille-Flandres and Lille-Europe. The shop is open Monday to Saturday from 9.30am to 8pm, and the centre is served by Metro lines 1 and 2 and trams R and T.
Is SuperFoodSport in Lille still open?
We could not confirm it: its site displays “le site est fermé” (the site is closed). So we removed it from our list in October 2026. If you are planning to go, ring the shop first.
Is there a Decathlon selling whey protein in central Lille?
Not for now: the Decathlon City on rue de Béthune is closed, with no reopening date announced. Decathlon points customers to its Villeneuve-d’Ascq stores, or you can order online with delivery to a pickup point.
Does Healthy Life offer in-store collection in Lille?
Yes, through the “Collecte à Lille” option when you place your order. You then pick your whey protein up at 1 rue de la Piquerie. FitnessBoutique also runs a Click & Collect service, with a call back from an adviser within 24 hours.
