FitnessBoutique Bordeaux Centre is the easiest to reach by tram: the shop points to line A, Sainte-Catherine stop, and the Victor Hugo car park if you drive. The team runs tastings of its nutrition products (whey, creatine, pre-workout).
Bordeaux Régime is the odd one out on this list: it is a dietetics and natural health shop whose team includes a registered dietitian and naturopaths. The shop says it stocks the Nutripure range, including the organic native whey, which makes it a good option if you want organic whey protein without ordering online.

The brand has two other stores in the metropolitan area, open Monday to Saturday from 9:30 to 20:00: BioTechUSA Bordeaux Lac (shopping centre, 1 avenue des 40 Journaux, 33300 Bordeaux) and BioTechUSA Mérignac Soleil (52 avenue de la Somme, 33700 Mérignac).
FitnessBoutique Bordeaux Lac, at 357 boulevard Alfred Daney, 33300 Bordeaux, describes itself as the largest FitnessBoutique showroom in Nouvelle-Aquitaine. It has a customer car park in front of the shop and also runs whey tastings. Hours: Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 14:30 to 19:00, Saturday from 10:00 to 19:00.

We took the five shops from the previous version, checked each one in October 2026 and added two BioTechUSA stores confirmed on the brand’s own page: the Decathlon and FitnessBoutique store listings, the BioTechUSA store pages, the Bordeaux Régime website, plus the Mériadeck centre website for access details. Opening hours and services are the ones the retailers publish: we did not visit in person and did not compare shelf prices.

The only shop on our list open on a Sunday is Decathlon City, rue Sainte-Catherine, from 14:00 to 19:00. Every specialist shop closes that day, and Bordeaux Régime does not open until 13:00 on Monday. So if you run out of whey protein at the weekend, that is your backup plan. After 19:00 on weekdays, the BioTechUSA stores (until 20:00) and Decathlon City (until 19:30) are the ones still trading. Decathlon flags special hours on 1 and 11 November 2026: check the store listing before heading out on a public holiday.
