About Temple de la Whey

Temple de la Whey is an independent guide to choosing your whey protein without getting ripped off. It is published by Paul Vengeons (GROW IT SASU, see the legal notice, in French), who created it in 2022.

Who writes the guides?

The guides are written by Paul Vengeons, with a small team. Together we compare every whey brand and track how their prices and products change, formula after formula. We are a bit autistic about it, and that is on purpose: it is what lets us tell you which whey is really worth its price today.

Paul is neither a doctor nor a dietitian: that is why every health claim relies on published studies cited in the article, and why no guide replaces the advice of a health professional. If you have a health condition, are pregnant or take medication, talk to your doctor before taking a supplement.

How we rate a whey

  • Quality: protein content, type of whey (concentrate, isolate, native, hydrolysed), ingredient list, additives and sweeteners, read on the brand’s official label.
  • Taste: flavours on offer and buyer feedback.
  • Price: price per kilo and real cost per serving of protein.
  • Service: delivery, returns, public customer reviews.

Every guide shows when it was last updated. When a price, a formula or a study changes, we fix the article.

Affiliate links: what we earn and what it changes

Some links on this site are affiliate links: if you buy through them, Temple de la Whey may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This is the case for Nutripure, which our “Find my whey” quiz recommends.
